What is gum disease?

Gum disease is a chronic infectious disease called biofilm, in which there are many different and diverse bacteria.

What are the causes of the disease?

The first cause of the disease is the microbial dental plaque, which is formed by the accumulation of the surfaces of the teeth and between them as a result of the ineffective cleaning of the foods we eat.

How Do I Know If Gum Disease Occurs?

Gum disease occurs at any age, but usually in adults. Gum disease can be prevented if diagnosed early, so it is in your best interest to visit your dentist when you notice any of the following symptoms:
Bleeding from the mouth while brushing or out of nowhere
Gum color changing from pink to red or even purple
swelling of the gums
Bad breath
Sensation of getting food stuck between teeth
An increase in calculus accumulation
itchy gums
recession in gums
Spacing, displacement, shaking of the teeth…

What are the indicators of gum disease?

Red, swollen, bleeding gums, tooth loss, teeth wobble, elongation, separation, tooth sensitivity for no reason, abscess formation, bad breath, large amounts of plaque and tartar accumulation around the teeth are indicators of this disease.

What is an implant and what is not?

An implant is a titanium screw placed in the jawbone to restore the function and aesthetics of missing teeth and teeth.

Who is the implant applied to?
